What’s new with the VOOL App?
Charger-first approach
The VOOL App's focus shifts from EV-only charging to charger-based charging. This means that now you need to add your charger to the app. Any OCPP-compliant charger will do. However, we guarantee the best experience with the VOOL Charger.
If you still don't have a VOOL EV Charger, but would like a good deal, get in touch with us. We have special discount if you mention "VOOL App Friends" until 21 April 2024.
However, if you already have an OCPP-compliant charger that you are happy with, learn how to add your non-VOOL charger in the VOOL system.
More reliable
We have learned that EV-only charging, which we have partially used so far, is not a reliable way to charge your vehicle. Car APIs are not always responsive, and some car manufacturers don’t provide enough capabilities to perform reliable day-to-day charging. Charger-first mode provides more stability for your EV charging.
